Authorised Persons Refresher up to 33,000V
The Authorised Persons Refresher (33kV) course is a comprehensive three-day programme designed for experienced HV Authorising Persons who need to refresh, update, and reaffirm their competence in managing and overseeing high voltage electrical systems operating up to 33kV.
This course revisits the key responsibilities of the Authorising Person role, reinforcing safe working practices, HV safety rules, switching procedures, isolation and earthing requirements, and the correct use of safety documentation. Delegates will review current legislation, industry best practice, and lessons learned from operational incidents to ensure their knowledge remains current and relevant.
Through a combination of expert-led tuition, practical exercises, equipment demonstrations, scenario-based assessments, and competence evaluation, participants will refresh their knowledge and maintain the skills required to safely and effectively fulfil the duties of an HV Authorising Person on systems up to 33,000V.
