The Authorising Persons up to 33,000V course provides advanced training for individuals responsible for managing, authorising, and overseeing high voltage electrical operations on systems operating up to 33kV. This programme equips learners with the knowledge and confidence required to implement HV safety rules, supervise switching operations, control isolation and earthing, and issue and manage safety documentation.

Learners will develop a deeper understanding of HV distribution networks, operational risks, safety precautions, and the responsibilities associated with overseeing work on complex high voltage systems. Through expert instruction, real equipment demonstrations, and scenario-based assessments, this course ensures that participants can competently and safely fulfil the duties of an HV Authorising Person.
